Membership Information

Eligibility

The Marietta College Symphonic Band is open to community members 18 years and older who play traditional wind or percussion bainstruments. High school students are welcome to audition for entrance into the ensemble. Auditions for the spring semester take place during finals week in December, and auditions for the fall semester take place in late August. Community members 18 and over need not audition. 

Commitment to rehearsal attendance is strongly encouraged with most members missing two or less rehearsals per semester.
