Marietta College Symphonic Band

 The Marietta College Symphonic Band is one of the Department of Music’s large ensembles. The band returned from hiatus in 2024 and has since performed works by composers such as Alfred Reed, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Julie Giroux, Eric Whitacre, and John Mackey. Symphonic Band is made up of performers from the Marietta College Music Department and faculty, and it is open to community members area-wide.
